Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Medical Coder to ensure precise ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding, conduct clinical documentation reviews, support audits, and mentor junior coders. This role collaborates closely with billing, compliance, and clinical teams to maintain regulatory compliance and optimize reimbursement.
- Responsibilities: coding accuracy, documentation review, audit support, and team mentoring.
- Requirements: 5+ years professional coding experience; RHIA/RHIT or CCS/CCA preferred.
- Expertise in inpatient and outpatient coding rules, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills required.
- Experience with EHR systems and coding audit tools is a plus.
