Job Description
Hospital Supply Corporation is looking for a committed Imports Officer to oversee critical functions within our Import Department at the Karachi Head Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage documentation for import shipments and facilitate customs clearance.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders and clearing agents to ensure smooth shipment processes.
- Communicate with banks regarding letters of credit, bank agreements, and document collections.
- Prepare reports on shipments, letters of credit, purchase forecasts, and transactions using Microsoft Dynamics AX.
- Engage with the ADC for drug consignment approvals and review invoices thoroughly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or an MBA in Supply Chain preferred.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in imports.
- Outstanding communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent coordination abilities with various stakeholders.
