Job Description
Deluxe Furnishing Company is actively seeking a dynamic Import and Procurement Manager to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for negotiating pricing and payment terms with suppliers, calculating duties and taxes for imported goods, and demonstrating expertise in banking procedures related to imports. Strong follow-up skills with vendors to ensure adherence to production timelines and sourcing competitive freight and shipping rates are essential. The candidate will work closely with customs clearing agents and transporters to facilitate timely deliveries. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is required, with a preference for candidates with experience in the building materials industry. A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
