Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to accurately translate medical records into ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to support billing and regulatory compliance.
- Review clinical charts, assign diagnosis and procedure codes, and verify that documentation supports coding decisions.
- Collaborate with providers to clarify clinical entries and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure timely, accurate coding using EHR and coding software to facilitate claims submission.
Requirements: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or equivalent, minimum 2 years of coding experience, strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and insurance billing, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with electronic health records and coding tools.
