Job Description
The Indus Hospital (TIH) is seeking a committed Blood Transfusion Officer to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will conduct thorough donor medical screenings and oversee blood collection procedures, ensuring utmost safety and compliance throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive donor medical screenings and eligibility evaluations.
- Supervise blood collection procedures to guarantee safety and adherence to regulations.
- Respond to donor inquiries and effectively manage any adverse reactions.
- Keep precise donor records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- MBBS degree with valid registration from PMDC/PMC.
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in blood transfusion or related fields.
This full-time position is based in Karachi and requires 75% travel.
